MGPS Meghalaya State Golf Championship 2024 and Batkupar J Synrem Memorial Open Hosted by Assam Rifles Environment Park and Training Area,Laitkor,Shillong (an IGU East Zone Feeder Tour event conducted by Protouch in association with Meghalaya Golf Promoters' Society)

Format – 36 Holes Individual Strokeplay
Amateur Categories – Amateur; Mid Amateur; Seniors; Super Seniors, Ladies & Juniors
Junior Categories – A (15-17 Yrs), B (13 & 14 Yrs), C (11 & 12 Yrs), Juniors (Others)

Mr Prantor Baruah
He is an International certified Golf Referee and qualified in 2016.He has been a Rules Instructor for Indian Golf Union and Officially assigned to educate & teach rules to aspiring referees and Golfers.He is a Certified Course Rater as well. Works as Tournament Director when assigned for IGU & Women’s Professional Golf in India . Works as referee for Men’s Professional Golf Tour, run by PGTI i.e. Professional Golf Tour of India.Worked in 100 plus tournaments in India and Abroad including European Tour Events, both Men and Women
Venue Specific Instructions
- Ball retrieval from water bodies is not allowed
- Caddies will have to wear Caddy bibs and Helmets at all times.It will be the player responsibility to return the helmets and bibs to the caddy master failing which an amount of Rs 150/- for helmets and Rs 250/- for Bibs will be recovered from the respective Golfer
- Consumption of Alcohol is not permitted in the Assam Rifles Campus
- All areas outside the Golf Course are Out of bounds for all Golfers and Caddies
- Any damage to the Golf Course property will have to be made good by the Golfer
- ID cards (Aadhar/EPIC card) to be carried by Golfers at all times
- Golfers are to park their vehicles in designated parking areas only
- Caddy requirements to be given to Protouch team
- Photography is not permitted outside the Golf Course
- Lunch Order to be given to caterer prior to tee off in advance
- All Caddies to be above 18 years of age
- Please do not litter the Golf course
- Repair divots and maintain pace of play
